Yvo Jacquier In this video clip, the contemporary artist realizes a freehand sketch of a woman's silhouette. The practice of drawing reveals its immediacy.
The emotional music of Yann-Fañch Perroches accompanies the gesture of the calligrapher, as much as the images of the director Hervé Coudrais. Without any premeditation, the rhythm of the creation is the same.
The musician Yann-Fañch Perroches
Yann-Fañch Perroches is a diatonic accordion player from Brittany, specializing in both traditional and newer, more
innovative music styles. He was a founding member of the groups Skolvan, Cocktail Diatonique and Jolie Vilaine. Yann-Fañch Perroches’ playing,
especially the harmonies he uses in his original compositions, is heavily influenced by jazz. He is remarkable for his rich use of the left hand and
the outstanding swing in his playing.

The composition « Maria » of the video is one track of the CD titled
« Daou ha daou »
which means « 2 and 2 » in Breton language. Yann-Fañch and Yvo share the same approach of the relationship between tradition and innovation.
They built the ideorealist art movement on this base.
Now, they invest their experience into a parallel between the harmony and the geometry, after the revelation of Bartok's lessons.
